Half Marathon Training Day #7: 8.4km Slow Jog

Today is an “easy” 8km jog. Nothing easy about it; legs were still saw from the run on Day #5. Due to the slowness of the run (9.16 km/hr) I was able to take my GPS enabled BlackBerry:

I also did some extra analysis of my speed vs altitude and surprise, surprise as I run uphill my speed decreases:

Session:

8.4 km jog in 55 minutes.

Results:

  • Average Heart Rate: 157
  • Max Heart Rate: 172
  • Calories Burned: 864
